Here are three examples of techniques we commonly use in our remodeling projects. Clients love the convenience and the design discretion. The first photo shows how we install outlet strips under kitchen wall cabinets in order to maintain the detail of the tile backsplash.
Here’s a laundry chute that we concealed under a lift-up marble tile in the tub deck. Now you see it …

The last two photos are our variation on the “drawer outlet” detail by Classic Remodeling & Construction. Whenever the design has cabinets on the vanity counter, we put an outlet inside the cabinets so clients can leave their hair dryer, curling iron, etc. plugged in and stowed away. We’ve been doing this for 12 to 15 years.

We use a similar “hideaway” technique in kitchens, by installing outlets in appliance garages and mixer lift cabinets. Sometimes we also install outlets in utility cabinets for rechargeable flashlights, cordless vacuums, cell phone chargers, etc.
