THE GEHMAN DESIGN REMODELING PROCESS
Step 1
In-Home Consultation
Every project begins with us coming to your home to hear your design ideas. We will take basic measurements to bring back to our office. There is a consultation fee for the first appointment (fee depends on the scope of the project).
Step 2
Showroom Meeting
The second appointment will be at our showroom where we will show you projects similar to yours and at this time we will give you a range of what the project will cost.
Step 3
Design Agreement
We will then ask for a design retainer. The retainer amount is based on 8% – 10% of the higher end of our Opinion of Probable Cost (OPC) budget range. This allows us to do a site visit and we will give you 3 design ideas of what your space will look like.
Step 4
Contract
When all of the selections are done we will then present you with a firm number. When you sign the contract we will then schedule your project into our production schedule.
Step 5
Construction Begins
Your Remodeling Consultant and your appointed Project Manager will be on site to go over the project with you before we start.
Step 6
Warranties
When the project is complete, this is when the 5 year warranty on our craftsmanship and 10 year structural warranty kicks in.

From Heritage Field Airport (PTW) head east on W Ridge Pike toward Fruitville Rd and turn left onto Neiffer Rd. Then, turn right onto Game Farm Rd and turn left onto Main St. Next, turn right onto E Park Ave and continue onto Schwenksville Rd. At this point, turn left to stay on Schwenksville Rd and at the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Shelly Rd. Finally, turn right onto PA-63 E and then turn left where Gehman Design Remodeling will be on the right.
