Beverly and Patrick bought this house because of the beautiful property. Before working with us, they created a beautiful exterior of the house, but thought the house needed changes inside to make it theirs. The homeowners wanted the first floor layout to be more open-concept while still keeping an eclectic feeling.
To achieve this, we changed the layout of the first floor. We first switched the family and living room to give more space for less formal gatherings, leading to the living room to be placed where the old kitchen was. By opening up some walls and placing the kitchen where the old eating area and family room was, we were able to give the homeowners the kitchen of their dreams. We also updated the master bathroom on this floor. In the basement we updated the bathroom, gym, laundry room, and even turned one of the guest rooms into a walk-in closet.
